Salon treatment

I took Jadelyn to the salon with me to get our hair cut. Misty cuts our hair but never Jadelyn's at her salon. Jadelyn will talk for days about how Misty has cut it. Jadelyn does not like to get her hair washed because she complained it hurt. I figured I would say I am learning from Misty of how to do it right. And it worked!! I have not heard her complain yet. Jadelyn also lived it up. She loved the attention she got. She felt and acted like a big girl. It was the cutest thing to watch her. I loved doing girl things with her.
Getting ready to wash her hair.
Love the excitement on her face

Seriously I don't need a picture every minute Mom

Jadelyn really enjoyed it
Jadelyn did great. She even let Misty style her hair!

So much fun!!

Cinderella

We went to go see Cinderella at the Redlands Bowl awhile ago. I was not sure how Jadelyn was going to do. She is not one to sit and watch a movie or show the whole way througt. I thought she was going to be running all over the place. Boy was I wrong. She sat and watched the whole thing. I can't say quietly, because she yell in excitement at times. Of course she loved the play.
She also had to sit in Diane's lap since her daughter was in the play and she knew the most about it.

We got to meet Cinderella and the Prince afterwards, with a real horse and carriage. They were so sweet to all the people who came by. This was by far Jadelyn's favorite part.

She was a little unsure of the prince at first

They had glass shoes to give out and Jadelyn thought it was the coolest thing to have Cinderella's slipper.

Jadelyn was in a picture taking moment and wanted her picture taken with each of the police cars there too. She was living it up and loved being up so late.

My birthday

Since Kyle can work long hours he took advantage of being home early one time. I needed to get somethings done at the house so he took Jadelyn out. While they were out they went to my favorite place to get me a shake. Kyle tried to get Jadelyn to help him but she went straight t me to tell me everything they did. I did get sung Happy Birthday by them. So sweet

I got to see this face when I shared my shake. It was well worth it to share!

On my actual birthday Kyle tried to get the day off but didn't. So the kids and I went to my parents. We had a nice walk, feed the ducks and had time to relax. The best part was Kyle worked so hard so he could get off early and took me to out to dinner, while my mom watched the kids! I got many sweet messages from my nieces and nephews wishing me happy birthday. Jadelyn would say Happy Birthday and then say did you hear that mommy. It was a great day!

The crazy things dad's do

I got called into the living room one evening to see this...
I am not sure who loved it more, Kyle, Jadelyn or Kody. Jadelyn and Kyle sat and watched him. They laughed with him and had a good time. I can't believe how well he can sit up. That is what he likes to do sit or stand. He sometimes tries to push to stand up when sitting down. He is growing up way too fast.

Tea time

Jadelyn made tea for the all of us. It was so much fun.

So a little update...
Kody has been rolling over in both directions for at least a month.
He likes to sit up. He can stay sitting by himself for awhile.
He already has two teeth. His first one came in two weeks ago and last week can in last week. He has already has his two bottom teeth.
Jadelyn has had some quotable quotes...
While looking a picture in her bible of Gideon's men drinking from the river she looks up and says "no sippy cups!"
And in the most adorable voice when she is tired she asks "Cuddle me please." So hard to resist that!
Jadelyn is a fantastic big sister. She tells me when Kody cries and then usually tells me that he is hungry! She also tells me that we cannot leave him anywhere and that he needs to come with us. When someone else has his toy, she wants to get the toy back and give it to him. One day when Kody was teething, it was not a happy day, she walks into the room and starts talking. He breaks out laughing. It was the cutest thing.
