Helper

Kody is the biggest helper. Everything I try to clean he is near by helping me. Anything from vacuuming, to cleaning windows, to sweeping and mopping the floor to name some. He even goes to Grandma's house and helps her too.  Here are a few pictures of my helper.

Midway and the beach

The same day we did Stephen's walk we also went to the USS Midway and hung out at the beach. Jadelyn loved having both of her grandmas with her and Papa Jim.
The USS Midway is amazing.  We only spent a few hours on the boat and only saw a fraction of the boat. There was still more for us to see and explore that was open to us.  There were also so many other places that we couldn't go.  Wow!

The beach was a very short walk from the place we sent the night.  We have stayed there before and just love being so close to the beach.  Kody would have gone farther in the water if we let him.  Then he was off running after the sea gulls.  Always moving.  Jadelyn on the other hand just stay on the beach and played in the sand.

Stephen's Walk

I can't tell you how many times in the last few months I have a little sweet voice ask me when Little Stephen's walk is.  Jadelyn has been excited to walk for little nephew.  We explained to her that the hospital where Stephen was born in raising money to help kids that are sick, and have a walk and fundraiser to help out.  Not that she really got it, but it was cute.  Last weekend the time had finally come. We went down to San Diego for the walk.  It was a special time for us since this is the first time that we have meant the big guy.  I will have to stop calling him Little Stephen because he is not really little.

 The walk was really cool, since it went through Sea World.  There were all sorts of animals that had out for the kids to see.

Jadelyn was so excited to see all her cousins.  She loves them all!

Sheriff Rodeo

The annual sheriff rodeo came to town at the end of September. Kyle took Jadelyn 3 years ago and bought her a pink cowgirl hat.  How she has worn it and loved it.  Finally she has out grown the hat.  So this year she we replaced it!  It was so cute to see how excited she got about getting a new one! We wanted to get Kody one too but they didn't have any in his size.
Jadelyn loves rodeos.  She gets into them more and more each time.  People ask her what her favorite part is and she says motorcycles!  Yes, they had them as a show in the middle.  It was cool to see them. 
Kody loves the horses and cows.  This time he sat for awhile but then wanted to get closer to the animals.  He would make horse and cow noises when he saw them.  It is funny.

Kayla's Birthday

Wow I can't believe that it took me so long to post this. It was a couple of weeks ago.  We went down to celebrate Kayla turning 7! Where has the time gone.  It is always great to hang out with family
