My little helper

This is a post I had waiting to be finished awhile ago. So Jadelyn is sporting warmer clothes. Not like it has that much cooler here.
Jadelyn is my little helper. She helps me unload the dishwasher, close it and helps start it. She helps out with the laundry and will bring people items she is asked too. So also loves to share. She will take one and give you the other even if it is meant to be a pair. I get one of my shoes and she gets the other. She is very adamant it to. She even helps us to gardening!! Can't wait for to be old enough to mow the yard!!
She is using her plastic tools to help prune the roses, just like Mommy and Daddy

What a sweet loving face!
She loves the outdoor play set from her cousins

Helping Daddy water
Having fun in the pool in November.
Her auntie Carlee stuffed her full of balls. She thought it was funny=)

Getting out

Today Kyle and I decided that we need to get out of the house. He has been cooped up a little because a week and half ago he chipped a bone in his toe at work. So off we went to Lake Arrowhead. We had a little breakfast, a walk and fun at the park.
Kyle and Jadelyn enjoying the cool mountain air

Jadelyn has become miss independent and wanted to walk the dog by herself

Just love that smile!

Sad news

Late Thursday night/early Friday morning I had a miscarriage. During this time Kyle and I had to deal with things that parents should not have to deal with. I had an incredible husband who did things few Dad should have to do with his child. Grandma Gail come down and we took a trip to the ER and then the OR and then finally home to see our sweet precious little girl.
This pregnancy was very different than with Jadelyn. First, it was how I was feeling. Second, was what I was thinking. One thing I knew is that with my family being so large the risks one of us women miscarrying was high. I guess God was preparing me for what was to come. Also at the beginning of the pregnancy I was dealing with feeling like God could take away Kyle or Jadelyn from me. I could not listen to the song Praise You in the Storm by Casting Crown without crying. Part of the song has this He is a God that gives and takes away. In the last two weeks I was able to listening without crying. I never realized that God would take away my unborn child. But there is some reason out there for it unknown to us right now. But all I know is that some day I will be able to hold my child in heaven. My three Russell nieces and nephew with their child like faith have it right. My baby never had to experience sin and is in a perfect place in the presence of our Lord.
So to leave you with a verse in the same song:
I'll praise You in this storm
And I will lift my hands
For You are who You are
No matter where I am
Every tear I've cried
You hold in Your hand
You never left my side
And though my heart is torn
I will praise You in this storm

Harvest Festivals

Friday night my parents and I took Jadelyn and her three cousins to a Harvest festival at a friends church. There are not many pictures since we were so busy watching the kids have fun.
Papa Alan walking all the kids
Me and my little giraffe

This face explains how much fun she had.

On Halloween we went to a local church festival. This time there are not that many pictures of Jadelyn with us. She is in a phase where other people are better than us parents. While we were hanging out with some friends she would want to go to them.

Her friend who would play all the games with her
