Kenna (Updated)

Awhile ago we got the privilege of having Mckenna for a little bit. Of course we had to have fun with her.  One night we had a movie night in the playhouse.  Root beers all around. And of course Kenna, Jadelyn and Kyle sent the night out there.

Kody getting every last drop of root beer he can.

I remember when Mckenna was little and she would stay for sleep overs.  Now she loves hanging out with my kids and is so helpful.  The kids loved being with her and she would play with them and entertain them.  It was so nice to try to get things done.
All happy campers in the morning

We went to the park at Mckenna request.  My kids also love the park.
What a beautiful girl

We went to the water park by our house.  Kenna was great with Kody.  He really didn't like the water and she would go to the playground part with him.

Kody's best friend

Kody is such a good helper.  Anything he sees someone do something, he thinks he should be able to do it.  He loves feeding Zircon.  He takes one or two pieces of food and he give them to the dog. Other times he just dumps out all his food. While camping Kody loved to take Zircon on a walk, feed him, and take care of him.  Just petting Zircon can make Kody laugh.
Zircon is so protective of the kids.  He sleeps in their room. He barks at anything he thinks might be threatening.
Hanging out together.

Bowling

Michele signed Jadelyn up for bowling with her friends granddaughter who is Jadelyn's age. It is fun to see Jennifer and Jadelyn get together and do fun things.

The two bowlers

They were great cheerleaders for each other! They would give each other high fives too.
Jadelyn  bowling.  She wanted a little help at first but after awhile she did it by herself.
I was taking pictures and of course Kody wanted his taken

UPS

Sometimes Kyle is on a route in the neighborhood and stops by. The kids love seeing the truck out in the street, because it means that Daddy is home!! And if they can they love getting to drive the truck!

Mammoth 2

A few more picture of our time in Mammoth.  I took so many and have troubles getting it down to just a few good ones.
Kody with Grandma Michele.  Kody loved this bridge.  He would throw rocks off it and go back and forth to each side looking at the water.
Hanging out.
Jadelyn next to a tree that was hit by lightening
So cute.  Love the sibling love.  Jadelyn didn't want any one to hold Kody hand because she was taking care of him.
I must have the camera out a lot because Jadelyn starts posing for me when she wants to!
Kody loved to walk the stroller around.  He would try to take it in the dirt and where ever he could.  He would also walk it while Jadelyn would ride her bike.
Jadelyn loves her daddy!

Mammoth

We love going to Mammoth and finally it was time for us to go. We love going and love that Jim and Michele get to go with us! It is great having there. The kids love it!
The kids were so happy to be going!  All smiles
A quick lunch break and a little time for the kids to get out of the car.
Kody loved the lakes and rivers.  He would have thrown rocks all day long if he could have
The bear we saw
We took a trip to Devils Postpile where the kids became Junior rangers
This face tells you all.  He played in the dirty and we could never keep it clean for very long.  He had lots of fun!
Kody would keep going and going.  I would drive him around some times to get him to go to sleep because he would not want to miss a thing.  Kyle finally got him to go to sleep this time.
A little museum we went to.  Jadelyn went in with Michele and then showed me all around.  It was so cute and she was so excited to tell me all about it.
Kody loved being outside.  He loved trying to climb on everything and pick up sticks to.  He wanted to do as much by himself as he could.  Here is face is nice and clean.  In the later pictures he has scraps all over his face and legs.  That did not stop him for doing anything.
A little rain storm we got.  The kids found away to have fun.
We walked to one of the horse stables and the kids got to pet a horse.  The both love horses.  Kody would make a cute horse sound every time we saw a horse.  Jadelyn would want to pet every horse she saw.
Jadelyn loved riding her bike.  We had a nice loop at the campground for her to ride.  Mammoth has some awesome bike paths that Jadelyn would ride her bike on.  She had so much fun.
Love the outfit.  And Kody is wondering where something went
First love her outfit too and she is having fun doing crazy things
This was the lake we could see from our campsite.  Love the beautiful view.
The last day we took a hike to Heart lake.  It was a farther than the kids could walk so they got a ride.
After a hard day of being in the backpack, ice cream was refreshing
Jim had a boat to go fishing.  Kyle took the kids out of a little ride.  The kids loved it!  There first boat ride.

Fishing with Daddy

Jadelyn would wake up each morning with a very happy good morning, until the last day when she asked if this was the last day.  Then she took us she wanted to stay longer.  She can't wait to go camping again and to come back to Mammoth next year.
It was a great time.  It is so much fun for the kids to get outside and have some fun.  The weather was great for the time of year.  All around it was a great trip.
