In October we go camping with Kyle's family at San Clemente. I love that the cousins get to come and camp with us!

Mammoth

Back in early September we had our annual trip to Mammoth with Kyle's parents.  Always beautiful and always fun.
We stop by Manzanar relocation camp.

My kids love doing dishes on vacation.  This was a very cold morning.

 

We have been telling Jadelyn that when we are in Mammoth we would take her horse backing riding. So this time she was all excited.  The best part that Kody was able to ride too!

I think everyday we spent time fishing.  Kody and Jadelyn loved fishing.  After they were on the line Jadelyn wouldn't get close.  Kody on the other hand didn't care.

One day we rented a pontoon to take out on the lake.  The kids loved they were fishing and that they were on a boat.  Jadelyn caught the fish and biggest fish of the day!

 Another day the boys took this little boat out.  Couldn't believe that Kody last 4 hours!!  He didn't even complain.  His love of boats, since that day and only grown!

While the boys were on the boat us girls walked around, and Jadelyn loved riding her bike.

We love the beauty at Mammoth.  The beautiful lakes, waterfalls and the great hikes.

End of summer activities

Jadelyn did t-ball this year. She signed up with her friend Randy. It is the first sport that she has played. It was awesome to see how much they improved over the season.

Kyle loved helping out!

Jadelyn always seemed to have a large cheering section, grandmothers, friends and family.  Her friend Jennifer can once.

Kyle's grandmother and aunt lived close enough that they would walk.

One of our favorite events is the Sheriff rodeo close by.  The kids have so much fun.  We have a little cowgirl and cowboy on our hands.

School

So since the summer I have been really bad at posting blogs about what we have been doing.
Here are pictures from the first day of school.

Kody of course wanted to be like Jadelyn and have a sign too. So Cute!

For school we tried to grow a vegetable garden.  Well it didn't work.  Something ate everything.  Guess that is a lesson learned too.

We also went to the LA country fair.  The kids had a great time.

We also went to the San Diego Natural History Museum. We made a day out of it and went to the beach afterwards.

We saw a 3D movie there about dinosaurs.  The kids were really excited.  Jadelyn lasted only a few seconds with the glasses on.  She was scared because the dinosaurs were too close.  We did explain that part to her before hand and still wanted to see it.  She enjoyed the rest of the movie without her glasses on.

Summer

We went to grandma house to watch the meteor shower.  We slept out on the deck.  Unfortunately we really did see any.
