Jadelyn's birthday!

For Jadelyn's birthday we took her to the Wild Animal Park. We had a great time and Jadelyn loved looking at all the animals!

Last week we dropped off Jadelyn at Auntie Carlee's house and went out by ourselves. It was so wonderful, we just went out to a nice lunch. When I went back to Carlee's I found my innocent little girl inked!! She is already going behind our backs to get a tat with the help of Auntie Carlee!! No more unsupervised time with Auntie Carlee. Just Kidding Auntie Carlee. Jadelyn loved her time with you.

Last week we went to Carlee's parents house so Kyle could help out with some yard work. We had a great time. Jadelyn had a wonderful time with Grandma C.

Last weekend we went to my soon to be sister-in-law's bridal shower. Ellen and Tim are getting married in June!!! Yippeee!!!

Wow I cannot believe that I have not posted for over two weeks.
Kyle is working a split shift, which means very early morning again and then late nights. So when does he sleep, a few hours at night and a few hours during the day. He is such a trooper. Jadelyn and I have to be creative in activities to let him sleep, because we just want to hang out with him. We hope that this is only will end in a few weeks. At least next week he has off. Yipeee! Yes he did plan it to correspond with Jadelyn's 1st Birthday. She is one next week!!!!
Jadelyn is growing up!! She is finally starting to crawl on all fours. She loves chasing after the dog who right now is not thrilled about it. She is starting to communicate through sign language. She knows how to say "more", but the stubborn kid, not sure who she got that from=), only does it when she wants to. Also clapping and more look a lot a like. At Michael's party Auntie Carlee helped Jadelyn learn how to wave. Today at Costco she started waving at anyone walking by! So cute.
The weather here has been wonderful. So today I pulled out her kiddie pool! It is only March, but the water bug loved it.

Serious it is only March, but I have to get ready for the big pool!

My wonderful sister in law passed down toys from her two wonderful girls. Jadelyn loves the Little Mermaid bike. She loves to push the horn. She would be on it all the time if our backs could handle it.

Cousin Michael's 2!!

Oh my goodness... how time flies by. How can Michael be two!?! Just a year ago he was walking and climbing with help at his birthday party. Now he is a handsome, athletic boy. Kyle and I are looking forward to seeing these changes in our sweet little one in just a year!!!

When Kyle is not working he usually spends time on the yard. After getting two plants he was eager to plant them. With the help of a very clean, straight out of the bath, little girl, they planted a tree.

For a present from his parent's awhile ago, Kyle got this awesome hand made bench. Kyle found the perfect spot of it in our front yard.

Gabe's turn

The volume at UPS has slowed down so Kyle has been laid off from driving and is working in the morning and/or evening. Leaving him with time to go places. We have a handsome young cousin Gabe who after seeing his sister go to the Living Desert, has wanted his turn. He has asked every time he saw us when it might be his turn to go. We were finally able to take him!!! Yippeee!!
Gabe LOVES Jadelyn and Jadelyn LOVES Gabe. I had hoped Jadelyn would take a nap on our way out, but she found Gabe way to entertaining. She would "talk" to him and he would love on her.

After some patience and waiting for the giraffes to come get food, we were able to feed the giraffes numerous time!! Gabe had so much fun and so did we.

Jadelyn was a trooper, but was definitely tired. Kyle kept her moving and she finally fell asleep in the stroller. I think that is the second time she has ever done that. Just too curious to sleep.

Jadelyn slept for the last 10 minutes, woke up when we put her in the car. She saw Gabe and the tiredness melted away. She enjoyed him and he enjoyed her all the way home. What a wonderful time!
