Birthday Party

We did a double celebration for Jadelyn's 4th birthday and Kody's 1st birthday.  The weather was not the best but that did not stop us from having fun!! It was a cowboy and cowgirl theme party.  It was so much fun to decorate and I had some wonderful helpers!! Throwing a double party was nice, but don't have as many pictures this time around, it was a lot busier this time. 
It was great to have most of both sides of our families could and some good friends.  We had a house full of kids, I know that it was over 10 kids running around.  Jadelyn had lots of fun with her cousins and friends!

We have blessed to have meet Linda. She owns the horse Jadelyn has ridden in the past. We went out to her place a couple of weekends ago for a wonderful time.
When we first got there Jadelyn was scared of the horse, rightfully so they are huge animals.  It took her some time to warm up to the horses.  Linda allowed Jadelyn to pick the horse she wants to ride.  This time she choose Vollie.  The animals are great with Jadelyn.  Zander who she rode last time seems a little jealous that he was not the chosen one. Jadelyn got to experience a little more in how to take care of a horse.  By the end of our time she was walking around with them.  Kody on the other hand had no fear of them.   He was walking around like he was as big as them.  Thankful the horse are very well trained and would not hurt a fly.

Jadelyn did great on Vollie.  She was so comfortable.  She was looking around calling after the dogs following us.  This time she let the horse walk naturally up and down ditches.  She held on and was not really scared.

February 27th

On February 27, 2011 my life changed.  A sweet handsome boy was added to our family.  One year later my little boy is not so little. He is almost running, climbing up everything, fearless of everything and laughs at everything. I love my Kody James so much!
On his birthday this year Kyle took the day and went to the zoo.  Along the way we picked up cousin Jules for a fun filled day!  Kody loved looking at all the animals, but mostly he loved playing in the dirt! It was a wonderful way to spend Kody's 1st birthday!
