Oak Glen

This pasted Sunday we went with extend family and friends up to Oak Glen. We had a picnic, the kids feed the animals, pressed our own cider and enjoyed everyone's company.

The Zoo

On Kyle's last day of vacation we went to the zoo with some good friends. We love having passes to the zoo together. We got there when the park opened and loved having the animals out and about. Plus there weren't many people at that time. The weather was great as well as the company!!

Last week we went with my dear friend Aimee, her kids and a friend to the Arboretum. Jadelyn loves the bigger kids. And can't complain that it was a free day!!

Kyle is playing on our church softball team. So we try to go out to support and cheer him on. The great thing is other families come out and do the same! It is so much fun.

Old friends and new friends

Laura a close friend from High school and youth group is in So Cal. visiting the family for the holidays. Laura and her family found time to squeeze us into their busy schedule yesterday. It was short trip, well worth it and so much fun. One of their little girls, Sally is Jadelyn's age. It cute to see them play together.
So what do two girls who are near the beach and have fond memories there do, we go!! Plus Laura and the family live in Wisconsin. The weather was not the best, chilly and very windy. But that did not stop us from having a good time.

Jadelyn got a picnic set and loves it. She would set it up and invite her stuffed animals and feed them. It was so cut.

Animals and More Animals

This week has been a fun filled. One day we went with one of Jadelyn's friend, who took us to look at the animals in town for the circus. Even through we could really could not see the animals, the two of them were darn cute together.

Another day Jadelyn and I went to the Wild Animal Park. Two of her friends invited us along, and Jadelyn had so much fun with them. It is always fun to experience the zoo from kids perspective.

Again Jadelyn roared at every animal she saw. The Dino exhibit I thought would have scared Jadelyn, quite the contrarily. She just roared back at them. Not even scared of the T-rex. I had to drag her away kicking and screaming, she loved the dinos so much.

Caleb is such a great older brother. He knew how to be gentle and kind. He wanted to help Jadelyn see the animals. He is just a sweetie.

Then yesterday we hung out with three of Jadelyn's cousins. We had way too much fun and not enough time to take any pictures. Jadelyn always loves spending time with them.
Now today I except Jadelyn will need to rest up. Only one hour nap each day for the last three days. Not that she seem to mind, she loved every minute.
