The last weekend in September the Sheriffs rodeo came to town. Kyle took Jadelyn last year and the two of them had a blast. This year I wanted to go. Grandma Michele was also able to come. She told us her friend and granddaughter, Jennifer, were going to be there as well. Jadelyn and Jennifer see each other a few times a year and they are best buddies. They had so much fun hanging out together. The grandmas took the grand kids to get Jennifer a cowgirl hat since she liked Jadelyn's so much. While at the hat stand Jadelyn got the hat guy to clean her hat for free and was able to swindle a dollar out of the guy! All by her good looks and charm. Oh no, we are in so much trouble.

Michele's friend Joyce knows someone who owns a small ranch with horses, goats, chickens, and a donkey. They invited us to go to the ranch with them. Jadelyn was excited to go, but we knew she might be reserved about being around the animals. She had refused twice to ride a horse in the past. She stuck with Daddy at the beginning as the horses came up to see the visitors. After awhile Jadelyn was loving the animals.

Jennifer got on the horse first. She was loving it. Jadelyn kept telling me it was her turn to ride the horse. I knew she might be ready to ride. She got on the horse like she was a pro, waving and smiling. She was in heaven. Both girls then got on the horse together and went for a long ride. It was so cute. We have already made a date to go back! We are looking forward to it!
