One of Jim's love is to go prospecting for gold. So we all headed out to watch this gold mining operation. Jadelyn was done the minute she got there, but we stayed around for a while.

One of the days we went down in the Devils Postpiles National Park to go on a hike. The drive down was beautiful. Sometime shear cliffs on both sides. It is close to Yosemite...so picture something like that. We did a morning hike down to Minaret Falls.

Jadelyn was having so much fun that she did not want to get out of the backpack. She told us to keep her in there until winter!

After packing up the campsite, it was sad to say good-bye. We had a wonderful time with Grandma Michele and Papa Jim. It is always fun to hang out with family and have a great time.Family shot in the bear box.
