Oh Baby

Life is still getting back to normal, but I am not sure it will ever truly be normal again. I have found that spending time with Jadelyn and Kyle has been more of a priority. There has been so much that has gone on since the 1st of January in our lives.

For one I have a new nephew, Elijah . While we were dealing with Jadelyn's seizures my sister gave birth to a healthy and handsome little guy! We finally were able to meet him last week and it was a joy to see him!!! Jadelyn has been talking about him since the day Kris told us his name. She was excited to meet him for the first time but a little unsure about holding him.

My dear sweet friend put on a church baby shower for me. It was a little crazy since it was the Sunday right after we were home. But I was told from the people there that they have been praying for us. I saw the blessing of a wonderful church.

Kyle took last week off to help Jadelyn adjust back to being home and all that happened. So he took the opportunity to work on the baby's room with the help of his parents and Jadelyn they were able to get the room ready! Jadelyn wanted to be around and help Kyle as much as possible.

Patio Cover

I was thinking about how much work Kyle has put into our house over the last 2 1/2 years. I have been wanting to blog and brag about our patio cover. There always seems to be something new that Kyle is doing and I wanted to wait until it was finished. But I wanted to get his accomplishments in a blog this year. Here is the amazing work that he has done with the help of our Dad's. Kyle's dad was faithful to come over for weeks to help Kyle. We are so thankful! I so enjoyed the cover this summer and even in the fall, when we can go outside in the shade.

Kyle and his dad started the cover in June. There was sanding, priming, painting, and more painting, cutting, and heavy lifting. I did not do much because I found out I was pregnant during the process. But it was incredible to see it come together.

What an amazing job! I love that patio and all the yard work Kyle has put into the house! It is wonderful!

Yardwork

With the front yard basically done Kyle has been working hard on the backyard whenever he gets a chance. He has some amazing ideas and can't wait to see it come all together.
Jadelyn loves being outside and loves to help whenever and how ever she can. She is so sweet.

Kyle has also been busy doing house work. The bath tub (that Jadelyn uses) facet was leaking, so Jadelyn all by herself got in to help Daddy out.

These are from my camera phone and not the best. There is the cap that Jadelyn wore for her EEG. I forgot to get one before so she was a good sport and put it on again for a picture.The tech put gel in the cap to get a good connection. This is what her hair looked like after the test.

As of right now Jadelyn has not had any more seizures!!! Praise the Lord!! Thank you for all your prayers.
Two days before her seizure she was out helping Daddy with yard work. This time he put her to work.
Kyle has been working hard at getting the front yard cleaned up and ready to plant new grass. Hopefully soon I will be able to have a picture of growing grass!!! He is off this week and has been putting many hours into it.

Kyle has been working hard, in his spare time, to get the front yard looking nice. He is hoping to seed it soon. It will be great to have some grass. Jadelyn loves every minute she can get with Daddy. So he has to combine being with Jadelyn and yard work. So he can up with the bright idea of putting Jadelyn in the wagon and use it to move stuff, in this case rocks.
