May air shows

So this month we had the opportunity to go to two different air shows. The first was at March Air Force at the beginning of the month. We had a wonderful time with Grandparents. Jadelyn was excited about the planes, accept the loud fighter jets. She would cover her ears and tremble whenever they would fly by. Jadelyn loved all the other ones and would just watch them. There were some planes which we could walk through. At first, she would not even go through the huge one without showing fear. But, with Papa Alan around she would. She would cling to him so tightly, but by the end she enjoyed the planes and would walk through them by herself.

We buckled Jadelyn in and as you can see she thought it was the greatest thing.
Love the cute smiley face.
My mom's father and uncle flew planes in WWII. The two that they flew were on display. It was nice to learn more about what they had done since they both died young.
This time around Jadelyn went all out in the planes. It was like she was a pro already. She would just want to be taken back again and again, of course Papa Alan was her choice of companion. And some of the places were tight!

After seeing these planes and hearing about them gave me more respect for our military. My list of what the men had to do on these planes would be lengthy. They were truly heroic. At the March air show all the military stopped and saluted during the National Anthem. With all the negative things we hear people portray about our country, it is nice to know that there are people who love our country and who will lay down there lives for our freedom. Thank you to our military and their families for your sacrifice, for the freedom we enjoy.
